Advice & osteopathy

Clear, honest answers to the questions I hear most often at the practice - about pregnancy, babies, and women’s health. Always measured, and always alongside your medical care.

Frequently asked questions

You might be wondering

When should you see an osteopath?

For back, neck, or pelvic pain, digestive issues, support during pregnancy and postpartum, or infant discomforts (colic, flat head, sleep).

Does osteopathy replace medical care?

No, never. Osteopathy comes as a complement to your medical care, and I’ll refer you to your doctor, gynecologist, or pediatrician whenever it’s necessary.

Is osteopathy suitable for pregnant women and babies?

Yes, with gentle, adapted techniques. It’s actually the very heart of my practice: women’s health, perinatal care, and pediatrics.

How do I know if osteopathy can help in my case?

The simplest thing is to describe your situation to me: depending on your reason for consulting, I’ll tell you whether a session is appropriate or whether another professional would be a better fit. My advice articles also cover common situations such as pregnancy, baby colic, and flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly).

Who writes these osteopathy articles?

These articles are written by Léa Laskar, an Osteopath D.O. and graduate of IDO Paris, drawing on the day-to-day practice at the practice, and always as a complement to medical care.
